Websites of those we have met along the way ...

www.exploringtheworld.nl .......... Gerard and Betty, our overland parents. They are a Dutch couple who have an amazing amount of energy, enthusiasm and experience for travel through Africa. They gave us so much valuable advice and encouragement in our first few days in Africa.

www.2africa4love.com ........ Claudio and Laura, a very friendly Italian couple who are also intending driving around Africa on a similar route to ours, with about as much experience as us.

www.berryenesther.waarbenjij.nu .......... Berry and Esther, a Dutch couple who are also driving down the west coast of Africa and back up the east.

www.pistenkuh.de ............. Sabine and Burkhard, a lovely German couple travelling around the world in their huge truck. Very experienced and organised.

www.chblog.ch/kadonga ................ Gerhard and Theresa, a wonderful Swiss couple who were driving down through West Africa. They had the most amazing affection for Namibia, and were so eager to get there they shipped their Landcruiser to Cape Town from Accra in Ghana. We hoped to meet up with them again in Namibia as we had become very close friends meeting up at various places, but sadly Gerhard passed away in January due to cerebral malaria while in Accra.

joomla.heiwa-yume.co.uk ........... Kenneth and Joanne, an SA-Aussie couple who we have become very friendly with and spent a lot of time with along the coast of Ghana. They have also decided to ship their landy to Cape Town with Gerhard and Theresa's Toyota.

www.capeoverland.com ............. Nicola and Robin, an English couple in a red landrover, who we have never physically met but who we have been hot on the tail of from Gabon to Namibia, communicating by email. They were extremely helpful with directing us to and through Angola.
